With Vitreous Enamel Shade & cast iron base, the arm can be positioned at an angle by means of a slot in the cast iron base. The Shade can be positioned at any angle to suit. It has been rewired at some time in its life. I have tested it working, date 1920-50s , some paint loss + some Enamel loss to shade. Please see pictures no makers mark.
